Jutting sharply skyward from the lush jungles of southwestern Sri Lanka is the 7362 ft (2243 m) peak of Sri Pada, the 'Holy Footprint'. Also called Adam's Peak, the mountain has the unique distinction of being sacred to the followers of four of the world's major religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam.

He did some reports about the Chernobyl effects on the environnement, worked on the arsenic poisoning waters problems in Bangladesh and climbed Mount Kilimandjaro, Mount Kenya and Mount Ruwenzori in Ouganda to shoot the last ices of Africa. Born in the Alps, Jean Robert did a lot of climbing and skiing.
